Search finds things by name, brand, serial, ID, place, or the words AI added as aliases, and groups results into things, places, people, shops and documents (with a snippet of the receipt text).
This page covers what you can search, filters, saved searches, offline search and semantic search.
Filters
Section titled “Filters”Filters narrow results by location, place, type, tag and state.
Saved searches keep a filter set for you or a whole location.
On a computer, ⌘K or Ctrl+K opens search from anywhere.
Offline search
Section titled “Offline search”On a phone, Search also works offline from the phone’s copy, labelled On this phone · as of last sync. Results come from the local copy, and what you change syncs when you’re back online.
Semantic search
Section titled “Semantic search”With an embeddings model connected, results “matched by meaning” join the keyword ones. For example, a query about cutting paper could match scissors even when the word isn’t in the query. See AI providers.
Scanning
Section titled “Scanning”Scan on Home and Search opens the camera. See scan sessions for scanning several labels at once.
Sharing a search
Section titled “Sharing a search”Share this list on Search makes a read-only share link for a search filtered to one location, without state or price filters. See sharing a location.
